Note | William Steenbergen married first in 1781 Sarah Casey. A few yearsafter the Revolution, William Steenbergen came over from the South Branch of the Potomac to Shenandoah Co. and married a
daughter of Col. Taverner Beale of Mt Airy, above Mt. Jackson. It is reported that William was responsible for building the estate \" Dunmore - Mt. Airy \" in 1799 located in Shenandoah Co., VA.
