Mrs. George F. Holman has issued invitations to the marriage of her grand daughter, Baroness Alix Moncheur, and Mr. Robert Fernsel Loree on Monday morning. May 5, at 11 o’clock, at the Cathedral in Baltimore. Following the ceremony there will be a small breakfast at 1310 Eutaw Place, the residence of Mrs. William H. Blackford, the bride’s great-aunt. Baroness Alix Moncheur is a daughter of Baron Ludovic Moncheur, the Belgian Ambassador to Constantinople, who, on account of the Balkan war, will be unable to leave Turkey. The bride will therefore be given away by her uncle, Mr. Edward Padelford, of New York and Washington. Cardinal Gibbons will perform the ceremony, and Rev. Louis O’Donovan will be the celebrant at the nuptial mass. The bride’s attendants will be her sister, Baroness Marguerite Moncheur, of Constantinople, who will be matron of honor, and the flower girls will be the two young cousins of the bride-little Miss Eleanor Hopkins, of Hot Springs, Va., and little Miss Emily Hammond, of Baltimore. The bridegroom, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Loree, of New York, formerly lived Baltimore, where his father was at one time president of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The best man will be the bridegroom’s brother, Mr. Bader Loree, of New York, and there will be six ushers, who will be from New York, with the exception of Mr. Marechal Brown, of Baltimore.
