Moses Penn was born about 1712 in Westmoreland, Virginia. He was the son of John Penn and Lucy Granville. He was the father of John Penn, Signer of the Declaration of Independence.
He married Catherine Taylor on 4 Jul 1739 in Caroline, Virginia. Children: John. He died on 4 Nov 1759 in Townsville, Granville, North Carolina.
