Mary Houghton. Property In a series of land transactions, Thomas conveyed his property to his children. On 17 December 1760 (recorded 20 August 1761), Thomas Sawyer of Bolton conveyed to Abraham Sawyer of Narragansett Township Number 6 three pieces of land of 90 plus acres in Narragansett Township with dwelling house for payment of £100. On 17 March 1761 (recorded 13 May 1763), Thomas conveyed to Thomas, Jr. of Narragansett Township Number 6, for love and good will he bore his son, two pieces of land in Narragansett Township totaling about 48 acres. In July 1766, for love and good will, Thomas conveyed to son Hooker one-half of the homestead farm in Bolton. On 9 December 1771 (recorded 28 August 1772), Thomas sold the other half of the farm (referred to this as his old place where he formerly lived), noting that the first half was the property where the widow Relief Osgood lived, to Eliakim Atherton blacksmith of Bolton for payment of £100. On 15 August 1766, Thomas sold to Thomas Sawyer of Templeton 60 acres in Templeton for payment of £30.
